Backbiting is a dreadful vice, but sadly to say that we trip into this tricky pit dozens of times every single day without realizing that we actually backbit our, friends, relatives thinking that we r just criticizing them, we r just talking, no harm is done!!!! :laughing: well, it is very harmful!

I don't know how serious is this offense in Christianity or Judaism, but in Islam it is one of the mortal sins! :wow:

unless one repents by sincerely asking God's pardon and donate some charity in the name of the ones we hurt, unless we do that , we r actually threatened to live miserably in this life and the hereafter! :cry:

Meanwhile, backbiting is not considered as one, if it was about ppl who don't consider other people’s reservation or sacred issues and just love to declare their ill manners, sins, and thoughts loudly and publicly without any shame or remorse…in this case they actually subjected themselves to all kinds of gossip or disgrace! !

As for me, I really do a huge Jihad ( struggle ) to keep away from this stinking gutter! :lol:

Thank u sweet Nicole for sharing! I'll book mark the link :) In Islam everything is forgivable if sincerely repented except for one thing is to deliberately take another God as a partner with the almighty! I mean making that God as equal as God whose name is Allah! Nevertheless this is also can be forgivable if truly repented even near death! :)

interesting... in Christianity, the unforgivable sin, blasphemy, if i understand correctly, is making the horrible statement that Jesus' power came from the devil. :( :(
